2. Venford Cottage: Conditions and Terms of Hire

1.Weekly hire begins from the first day of booking from 15.30hrs and ends on last day of booking at 10.00hrs

2.Bookings are confirmed on receipt of:

a. completed booking form

b. completed conditions and terms of hire form

c. deposit cheque of £95 (payable to Venford Cottage).

3.The balance of hiring fee is to be paid one week before arrival date or earlier

4.Cancellations must be notified in writing.  Refunds can only be made if Venford Cottage is re-let for the period of booked hire.  Otherwise, the hirer is liable for full cost of hire.  You are advised to take out holiday cancellation insurance to cover such eventuality. 

5.Any damage to Venford Cottage and its contents caused by the hirer or the hirer's party during the period of hire is the hirer's responsibility to replace or repair.  Please notify any damage immediately to the owners. 

6.The hirer and party are expected to leave the cottage in the same clean and tidy condition it was at the start of the booking

7.Cottage has a septic tank, so ONLY human bodily waste and toilet paper down loos.  All other items to be placed in bins provided. Cottage has its own private water supply which is tested regularly.
